Overview
Captain Carmine is a soldier in the Kandarinian Armed Forces, hand-picked by Damien Roth to look after de Sade and to report any strange behavior back to him. Carmine is a quiet, soft-spoken man at times, but has a very gung-ho attitude when fighting. He believes it to be Alex and Midna's fault that de Sade has disappeared, and now wishes to find them so he can eliminate them himself. Being promoted by the Colonel himself, he now leads the Scarlet Commission, charged with the hunting and killing of Alex.
Appearance
Carmine appears to be a thin, fit man of about thirty, five-foot eleven and weighing 70 kg. He is rarely ever seen without his full-face helmet, which hides his facial features. Some of his comrades have never seen his face in their time knowing him.
Background
Very little is known about Carmine's past, aside from that his military career began at eighteen, when he was drafted into the KAF (Kandarinian Armed Forces). Having grown up in a peaceful valley town, Carmine had not seen war first-hand, aside from what his father (who was also a KAF soldier) had told him about the experience. He always remained loyal to the higher-ups in command, never questioning their motives or where they sent him. Carmine fought in the Seven-Hour War to capture Asgarnia. Now leading the Scarlet Commission, he actively hunts for Alex.

- Carmine's name might have something to do that every generation of the Carmine family has had a man who has fought and died in the war of their generation. If this pattern remains true, Carmine may be killed in the Kandarinian-Twili War.
