Renard

Description

Being a Velken, Renard has a fox-like appearance, with the characteristic Velken silver fur, pointed ears, tail, muzzle, and other traits. He wears loosely fitting black robes and a small silver amulet displaying Welkin's heraldry.

Bio

A young relatively inexperienced magic user, Renard was one of the ten Velkens brought to Gaian by Virmir and one of five Battle Mages in the group. As a Battle Mage, he works his spells in coordination with his fellows, weaving fast but deadly accurate and effective magic in intricate, usually preplanned assault patterns. Alone, however, his magic is far less effective, a fact he resents. He hopes to undergo training to remedy this in the future.

With Duilin's help, he was able to free his fellow Velkens from the clutches from Retan's grasp. Since becoming free of the bonds of the Dark Empire, he has lost interest in fighting, instead focusing more attention on art and writing. He currently resides on New Welkin along with the rest of the Velken population.
