Description

Henri is of light build and slightly shorter than average, though he always exudes an aura of stateliness and confidence. He wears a thin beard and short hair, brown and peppered with gray. His head is adorned with a simple light crown made of hammered copper, devoid of intricate markings or jewels, though he will wear a much more ornate gold version during special ceremonies. He wears a royal cloak which is dark green, his nation's color, underneath which is a green tunic and brownish trousers. He doesn't strike the eye as particularly rich, but certainly not poor.

Bio

Henri became king at the age of 24 and is generally well loved by his people, having captured his nation's respect early on after ascending the throne by removing several unnecessary, though minor, taxes his late father instituted as well as setting up various programs for the poor. He is one to listen to the concerns and problems of his people and cares greatly for them.

Henri has a unique ability passed down his family line for generations known as the "Eye of Truth". It is essentially a third eye that appears in his forehead, which can "see" the answer to various questions. It has a variety of applications, including seeing if an individual is true to his word. He may also use it to find a solution to a problem. In this way, the eye works as a sort of collective mind reader, delving into the collective life-force of the entire populace to see if a solution exists. The more people on the planet that know the solution, the easier it is for the eye to find it. The eye either finds an answer which is 100% true, or it finds nothing at all. Henri can also detect and gauge the auras of individuals with excellent precision using the eye. When the eye is shut it is undetectable.
