Czernn
Czernn is a character created by Mikado. He's a part of the Kandarinian Sovereignty and is a member of the Manteía bloodline of the Necromancy tree. His Necromancy abilities are splendid, and he has a special ability that only few Necromancers have. It is not connected to the Manteía blood, but there is a chance that this helped him getting this ability. This ability is called the "Palm of Sorrow".
Description
Czernn is what most people would call emo. He is very skinny, and his pose is crumbled together as if being scared the whole time. He looks very weak and cowardly, but he's very athletic and has no fear. He has almost no strength so that all his power is put in his speed and reflexes, and of course in his Necromancy. He's not respected by others, but very respected by fellow Necromancers, who do see his true worth.
He doesn't see the point in existence, and if not the Palm of Sorrow, he would have killed himself a long time ago. He has no good will for Kandarinian Sovereignty, and is there only because he's accepted there more than in the other countries. He didn't want to become a lieutenant, but he was forced to because of his abilities, which would be useful for the Sovereignty.
Necromancy
Because Czernn is from the Manteía line, his Necromancy is different. He can cast all the normal Necromancer spells, but has several additional ones. He drains wisdom from his Book of Divinations, which only a Manteía blood owner can read. If it is read by someone else, their soul would be eaten by the book. The book eats Czernn's soul slowly too, but because his life is already broken he doesn't have any problems with that. Many Necrolytes refer to Czernn as a Necrolyte because of his abilities, but he himself calls himself a nekrós manteía (small letters show importance).
Palm of Sorrow
His right hand has a sign on it, which allows him to use nekrós manteía, his variation of Necromancy.
- Sucking out life from living or half living beings
- Changing living things into unlife (only if the target's will is weak)
- Controlling all Unlife in a very long reach.
- Transmitting feelings trough unlife, and seeing, feeling etc. as they do.
- Halflife. He cannot die nor live. He's more of a zombie, and if his core is intact his body can be damaged endlessly.
- Smell of death. His sense of smell is very developed.
- Loss of fear. He is not afraid of anything.
This palm can only be obtained if:
- The previous owner is dead (There can be only one user).
- User can use Necromancy at a high level
- User must survive the Test of Doom.
- User must have a right hand.
Manteía
Manteía was a famous (among Necromancers) family, and a very rare one too. It was supposed to be dead a hundred years ago, but then Czernn appeared. Many see them as elite Necromancers, and a whole other circle. The Manteía use a very ancient language (based on Polish) which is a dialect of the real language of the Necromancers (see this article). The two languages are very alike, so when Czernn talks in it to other Necromancers, they understand it. However, only a few can actually speak it, or use its power, as the legend says...
