Pheonix

Pheonix (fee-on-icks) is the name of the spirit demon that was summoned by Abodahon to keep the members of his Talonscar cult from turning on him. The spirit demon has a way of forcing the demonic genes in the people it possesses to evolve. The spirit demon usually stays dormant until they either show a sign of betrayal to the Talonscar or the person dies. Sometimes on immediate possession they become taken over.
Pheonix had possession over the souls and spirits of Nex, Pophin and Valos having their abilities, personality and memories. Eventually this caused him to be very confused, leading him to suffer from a dissociative identity disorder. However after his apparent 'death' in Chapter 9, the souls were then released from him. He apparently has either been cured of his dissorder, or this dissorder was actually that of Valos' who Pheonix had been using the body of at the time. Pheonix is now currently being kept in an orb, known as the Orb of Pheonix.
