Alternan government

Alterna was formally ruled by Salazar and was under permanent martial law, and was very stable. It was, very strictly, enforced by authorities, and the role of the Church was high in prominence, the practise of compulsory tithes having been reintroduced.

Salazar was being disturbed by intelligence reports of the new nation of Aspyes, especially about their revolutionary intentions, and even more so as it seems that they have captured and converted the city of Laus. He does not want this to spread, and so has decided to increase the isolation of the populace, by banning all forms of water transport outside the army, and has decided to form an alliance with like-minded nations against this new threat.
