The Balrog appeared in Chapter 4 when Haraldur, Duilin, Zeros', Kami-Ryu and Cheetah went off to recover one of the lost legendary weapons.
The Balrog was a servant of Melkoth, he proved to be a tough fight for the team, but Haraldur was able to put out its flames by temporally filling the room with water, and Zeros' finished it off with a powerful energy blast.
