Speargun

This weapon is used by the Speargunners, the generic soldiers of the KAF. Older and less-advanced models use normal steel spears as ammo, while the newer and better spearguns utilize barbed obsidian tips. These newer models also have the capability to sunder almost any armour. If the target is unarmoured, the spear has the capability to go through the target and pierce anything behind it. Thick armour is still usually pierced, but the spear does not go through the flesh completely - rather, it is stuck in the body. The barbs on the tip make it very hard to remove.
