Malanos

The Malanos are Kraaz's minions. He sends them after whoever he wants destroyed or captured. They are essentially assassins. They have two forms. The first is a semi-translucent, flying form. In this form, they are quite vulnerable, but capable of summoning rainless storms which help them travel at great speeds. Their second form is solid, hooded creature with fangs. They have no feet and their cloaks look as if they come right out of the ground. In this form they are more dangerous because they can shoot lightning and deflect attacks. Their greatest weakness is, ironically, lightning, but fire may also damage it. They can easily survive at extremely cold temperatures.
