Shadow Magic

The Shadow Element is perhaps the most destructive and mysterious type of wizardry. The basic premise is the absorption and utter annihilation of life, ranging from physically materializing dark matter that simply destroys whatever it touches at a particle level, to gargantuan explosions that vaporize all in their wake, to vortexes that simply absorb surrounding matter into nothingness.

Most who learn more than the most basic of Shadow Elemental spells quickly fall down the path to either becoming completely morally corrupted, or end up as a slave of someone more proficient in the skill (and often both).
